Hi everybody! So Uwharrie and I have made it to Massachewychips. It got really hot there for a bit in CT... meltdown! But then it cooled down real nice! The landscape has changed significantly as we enter the nothern forests. I love it. There are so many hemlocks, my favorite tree!
We got off to work on an organic farm for a couple days outside of Sheffield. I'd like to say it was a positive experience, but I'm not quite sure I can honestly say that... Let's just say we were very thankful to get back on the trail.
Love from trail angels Slowfoot and the legendary Tom Levardi has restored us to full health! Now we're stronger than ever and ready to take on the Vermonster! It's just a couple days away now... And as promised here are some pics plus some new snail bait. Peace and love.
A shot of the trail in northern New York
A view of the Housatonic Valley (where the farm's located)
We spent two days paddling around and swimming in Upper Goose Pond

This strip is dedicated to the great Slowfoot!
(I've been better at snapping pics of these, more to come!)
